This policy covers EV Cost Calculator (this site). It explains what data is collected, why, and what control you have over it.

Calculator inputs

Numbers you enter into the calculators — mileage, MPG, efficiency, battery size, and so on — stay in your browser. They are not sent to a server, stored, or logged. Each calculation runs client-side in JavaScript.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your approximate location, device type, and the pages you view. None of it is tied to your name or email, because the site never collects either. You can opt out for all sites with Google'sbrowser add-on.

Advertising and cookies

This site may display ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising throughGoogle's Ads Settingsor aboutads.info.

This site does not control what data Google's advertising cookies collect. Google's own privacy policy governs that data.

What this site does not do

No account creation, no email collection, no selling of personal data. There is no personal data to sell — the calculators don't require it.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change too. Material changes will be reflected here directly; there is no separate mailing list to notify.
